Our Unique Approach
As the founder of our company, I have always been told that I am not your typical accountant. And at first I took offense. Trying to figure out what I could do to become a typical accountant?
But then I realized that it is my story that has enabled us to create The Largo Group, which offers a unique approach to accounting that works for the business owner, not just the accountant.
Many of you may not know this, but I grew up playing competitive golf. When I was in high school my parents would send me off every summer to different golf tournaments. We didn't have a lot of money, so these trips were an incredible sacrifice for our family and one that I would go on alone.
This meant arriving in places like Milwaukee, Chicago, Dallas, all on my own. Without a cell phone! (Yes - I'm old ;))
As I look back, I believe these experiences taught me two incredible life lessons:
- The pursuit of a dream is incredibly important. While your dream may not be professional golf, it is my hope that our company can be your set of believing eyes. To share with you our knowledge to get you to the next level.
- The hospitality industry can change lives - the people who welcomed me on these journeys were the members of the hospitality industry. It was the little things like the server who always made sure we placed an order before the kitchen closed. Or the golf pro who took the time to ask about our round even though he had 100 different things to do.
Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of our clients every day. We are more than accounting and tax professionals, we are your believing eyes, ready to get you and your dream to the next level.
